Pineapple Cake With It’s Own Special Icing

There is no need to use a box cake mix even when you are in a hurry. This pineapple cake recipe takes minutes to stir up and the results are fantastic. You will be keeping some crushed pineapple on hand so you can make this cake whenever the need or want arises. The pineapple cake icing is super easy too.

Pineapple Cake

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of flour
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 20 ounce can of crushed pineapple
  • 1 tsp of soda.

Directions:

Mix together pour in a 9 x 13 pan and bake for about 30 minutes at 375.

Pineapple Cake Icing

Ingredients:

  • 1 3/4 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1 stick of butter (margarine)
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 8 ounce package of cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup of walnuts or pecans

Directions:

Mix these ingredients together and spread on your warm pineapple cake.
