My daughter and I enjoy baking and she really likes to make peanut butter cookies. This is the peanut butter cookie recipe that we have found that makes the best tasting cookies.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup shortening
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs (beaten)
- 3 cups flour
- 1 cup chunky peanut butter
Directions:
In a mixing bowl add cream shortening, sugar, and eggs. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Drop on greased cookie sheet and press with fork. (that is my daughters favorite part, I have found a little cooking spray on the fork makes it easier for her).
Bake at 400 degrees for 10 – 12 minutes.
