One of my most favorite recipes is my sister-in-laws recipe for saucy meatballs. I just love this recipe and try to wrangle a dinner invitation anytime she is making it.
How To Make:
Ingredients:
- 1 pound hamburger
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 egg
Directions:
Mix all the meatball ingredients together and bake at 400 for 20 minutes. (I use this meatball recipe any time I need meatballs – they are very good and hold together well)
Saucy Meatball Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- Rice to serve it over
Directions:
- In a large saucepan mix your soup, milk, and nutmeg together.
- Add your cooked meatballs and heat to boil. Cover and reduce heat simmering for 15 minutes.
- Then add 1/2 cup of sour cream and heat for another minute or two. Serve over white rice.
