Round Steak Skillet Recipe

One of the first supper meal recipes of my mom’s that I learned how to make was this round steak recipe. I still make it to this day, it is that good.

How To Make:

Ingredients:

  • 4 – 6 slices of bacon
  • 1 1/2 pounds of round steak
  • carrots and potatoes as you like
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1 cup water
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Spread your bacon on the bottom on an electric skillet (the electric skillet needs to have a tight fitting lid) then arrange the steak on top of the bacon.

Add your onions, potatoes, carrots, water, salt, and pepper. Cover and cook slowly for about 45 minutes. Don’t stir while cooking.
