This recipe is very simple and can be customized with your own choice of oil and potpourri herbs.
This recipe also makes an excellent gift when placed in a decorative bottle with a ribbon, bow, or anything else you can think of to make it more special. You could also add your homemade sea salt bath salts (isn’t that fun to say!) in a gift basket filled with assorted bath products. Easy recipe for kids to help make as well. Some of my favorite herbs to use in the recipe are citrus peels, lavender, and chamomile,
How To Make:
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of epson salt
- 1 cup of sea salt
- Essential oil of your choice
- Potpourri herbs of your choice
Directions:
Mix the salts in a ziplock bag and then add the oil and potpourri.
Shake it up and mix it up and it is done! You will want to make sure the potpourri is in very small pieces though.
Wait at least 10 days before you put it in a bottle and shake the bag up daily to make sure it gets dries and is thoroughly mixed.
