I needed to make about three new 15ml (1 tbsp.) containers of lip balm but was a little short on supplies to make my usual lip balm. So I scraped together some olive oil, coconut oil, beeswax, peppermint essential oil, and some leftover orange and vanilla flavoring. It turned out well so I decided to make a note of it.
See my usual lip balm recipe: DIY Homemade Lip Balm Recipe: Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Avocado Oil, and Cocoa Butter.
This recipe makes one 15ml (1 tbsp.) container of lip balm or three 5ml (1 tsp. each) tubes of lip balm and is easily scalable. I tripled the recipe to get the three 15ml containers I needed.
