Fruit Smoothie Recipe

Fruit smoothies are a great way to cool off and add some nutrition into your diet at the same time. Adults and kids alike will love this tasty treat. You can vary the fruits and juices to your own personal taste. Try different combinations to find the one that you like the best.

Great Tasting Fruit Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of frozen pineapple or peaches (When I am freezing it I separate it into freezer baggies so it is ready to go)
  • 4-6 strawberries (depending on size)
  • 1/2 cup of milk. Can use soy milk if you prefer.
  • 3/4 – 1 cup of plain yogurt (I have also experimented with other flavors but my family likes plain the best)
  • 2-3 tablespoons of sugar – or – substitute honey for 1/2 of the sugar.
  • 3 ice cubes
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup of juice (I usually use orange or apple)
  • Protein powder or wheat germ can be added if you like.

Directions:

Put it all in the blender and in less than a minute you have two fruit smoothies to enjoy. Sometimes I will freeze the juice into ice cubes and use them.
