In our family, due to inquisitive young children, we call this “better than anything” cake. Most of you who have had it before will recognize it by the original name better than sex cake. It is really easy and the rich taste is unbelievable. We don’t make it often and we cut the pieces small but it is gone in no time.
Ingredients:
- Devil’s Food Chocolate Cake Mix (and whatever the box calls for in it such as eggs, oil, and water
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk (I use fat free)
- 1 jar caramel syrup (like you use on ice cream, you can also use butterscotch if you prefer)
- A Tub of Whipped Topping
- Heath Bits, or even a few crushed up Heath Bars (whichever is easier)
Directions:
Bake your cake according to the directions in a 9 x 13 pan
While it is still hot poke holes in the cake and slowly pour the condensed milk over the top, then follow with the caramel sauce.
Then after the cake is cool spread it with the whipped topping and generously sprinkle with your heath chips.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
