One of my favorite meals to make is chicken and rice, it takes all of 5 minutes to get it ready for the oven and turns out good every time. Simple, easy, and tasty are my favorite types of recipes.
How To Make:
Ingredients:
- 2 cups minute rice
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup (I sometimes use cream of chicken instead)
- 1 cup of water
- 1 frying chicken cut up
- 1 package dry onion soup mix
Directions:
- Cover the bottom of a greased 9 x 13 pan with uncooked rice.
- Mix both soups with the water and pour over the top and stir it all together.
- Place chicken skin side up over the mixture and sprinkle it all with the soup mix.
- Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 2 hours and 15 minutes, don’t peek though.
- I have also used this with pork chops and that works well too.
