I am always looking for good soup recipes that I can use for supper ideas in the winter. My whole family likes this hamburger soup. I often serve it with a side salad and fresh rolls.
How To Make:
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 pounds of hamburger
- 3 cups water
- 1 tsp kitchen bouquet (add it to your water)
- 3 med carrots
- 1 cup celery
- 2 large potatoes
- 1 cup onion
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 to 1/4 teaspoon of sweet basil
- 1 can tomato juice (about 12 ounces)
- 1 bay leaf
Directions:
- Brown and drain your hamburger.
- Then add it and all the other ingredients into a big pot.
- Cook it until the carrots and potatoes are done.
- Remove the bay leaf and serve it up.
