This is an easy no rinse homemade floor cleaner that is both inexpensive and effective. You can put it in a bucket, refill a spray mop, or refill a Swiffer Wet Jet bottle. You can also use it as a poor man’s spray mop by pouring it in a spray bottle, spray the floor, and then mop it up. Whichever way works best for you.
- 8 cups of warm/hot water
- 1 cup of distilled white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of mild dish soap (I use classic dawn)
- 3/4 cup of 70% isopropyl rubbing alcohol
- a few drop of essential oil (optional), if you have pets make sure it is a pet friendly oil
If you are spraying it on I recommend doing it in 3 or 4 feet square sections.
